Marion County Divorce Records
Divorce records are official documents that are created when individuals file a marriage dissolution proceeding in the Marion County Circuit Court. These records include the names of the case parties, case number, filing date, disposition events, every document filed in the case, hearing date and time, a detailed case progression, and financial statements. Divorce records are public and available online, by mail, or in person at the Marion County Circuit Court.
For online access, searchers can use the Online Records Search portal (enter a name or number to search) or the Court Records Request online form. In-person requesters may visit the courthouse during business hours to use the public terminals for a court record search or seek assistance from the records staff to obtain copies of the record. Those requesting divorce records by mail should complete the Records Request Form and send it, along with the appropriate fees, to the courthouse.
